Make August's Trek Birthday Wish a Reality

Hi, my name is August. I'm asking for your help to go to my first Star Trek convention. I began my love of Star Trek with the 2009 reboot and worked my way through almost all of the current and classic eras. With Discovery being my favorite, just in case it wasnt clear with the picture lol. I would very much love to go to the las Vegas convention this August. I want the opportunity to meet all of the people apart of this franchise that not only gave me hope that one day we might just learn to live in harmony, but that I had a place in that future. Not to mention my birthday is on the 17th and this would be an amazing 29th birthday present.

I'm not going to act like I don't feel a bit silly... You don't know me, why would you care if I go? I'm sure there are thousands of people on here with more noble causes for you to donate to. However, this trip would mean so much for me. As of right now, I'm only planning on going for 2 days, but your help could allow me to go to the entire convention. This just to help with transportation and paying for the rest of my hotel.
