Make Chloe & Kris's Apartment More Livable!

Hello, my name is Chloe. I am a 21 year old Trans girl from Louisiana, and I am asking for your assistance for my Girlfriend and myself.

Before I begin, there is one thing I must stress: this is NOT an Emergency Fund. We are NOT in any danger of being homeless or starving, and so I do not want anyone to feel obligated to donate anything, especially not if it would put them in a vulnerable financial position. View this fundraiser as going towards necessities for my girlfriend and I, and as a way to help pitch in to improving our quality of life. Even just sharing this fundraiser is helping out immensely.

My girlfriend and I have just relocated entirely across the country, myself from being kicked out with an ultimatum by my parents, and her to escape from the ever-spiralling transphobic policies of Florida. Circumstances necessitated that the move was rather hasty, and we're left with only one stream of income as my job search has been going abysmally. Presently we are lacking some basic necessities, which is not something likely to be rectified soon. We do not have a bed to sleep on, our cookware is already starting to fall apart, we lack the ability to purchase necessary cleaners and home supplies, we do not have reliable transportation, and at some point we are going to have to start purchasing cold-weather clothing in preparation for looming Minnesota winters.

It is my hope that this fundraiser can help alleiviate some of the financial burden we are facing, and assist with us getting established until such a time as I am successful in finding employment and she is reguarly recieving paychecks once again. Any assistance is appreciated more than I can effectively put into words.
