Make everyday a YES DAY for Wyatt!!!

I am Jennifer, the aunt of Wyatt Lee Duhon. He is 14 years old. He loves all things LSU especially LSU football. Wyatt loves his phone as most teenagers do. He loves his momma, his dad, little brother, and spending all the time he can in Ragley with his grandparents. Wyatt enjoys hanging out with his cousins riding fourwheelers, swimming in the pond, and playing games. He is great kid with a big heart. Recently, he had a diagnosis that rocked everyone's world, especially his. The time for being a normal teen started slowly slipping away.

In March 2024, he was diagnosed with a Pleomorphic Xanthoastrocytoma. This is a rapidly growing, recurring tumor of the central nervous system. Wyatt also had a lesion near his C4 vertebrae in his spinal cord. On March 21, 2024, surgeons at Texas Children's removed a golf ball-sized tumor from behind his frontal lobe. From mid-May through the end of June, he completed almost 5-6 weeks of radiation at MD Anderson to his brain and spinal cord. During radiation on June 6, he was diagnosed with a brain bleed which was the result of another tumor growing.

On July 21, 2024, a post-radiation MRI was completed and it confirmed another tumor, along with 5-6 new lesions scattered down his spine. At this time, a plan was made to try immune therapy to help slow down/possibly shrink the tumor beginning in August. With this, Wyatt would have to be off steroids for a period of time prior to the infusion, but he was unable to stay off the steroids due to concerning symptoms and because of these symptoms, a repeat MRI was done on August 18, 2024. Results of this MRI showed that Wyatt now has 6 more small lesions/tumors scattered throughout his brain. With these new findings, we would like every day from here on out to be a "YES DAY" for Wyatt. We do not know how much longer this world will be blessed with Wyatt's presence so we want to show him all the love and adventure that we can. Thank you so much for taking the time to read, consider, and share for Wyatt. Our family truly appreciates all of the support and prayers.
