Let's give Julie the send off she truly deserves ❤

Donation protected
After a year of being in pain every day and multiple trips to A&E and the GP, Julie has been diagnosed with Terminal Cancer which originally started in the stomach lining but has unfortunately spread to her stomach, spine, liver and bone. There is no cure as the cancer has spread too far and is aggressive but they are able to give her Chemo to slow it down. She will be receiving 2 chemo treatments of Carcoplatin and Paclitaxol for 5 hours, 1 day every 3 weeks for 5 months.

Anyone who knows Julie knows that she has a heart of gold and has always put others before herself, she would give her last pound to anyone in need.
We are asking that people donate what they can so Julie can concentrate solely on enjoying the time she has with her partner, family and friends without the worry of money issues. The money raised will be used for anything Julie will need and to help create memories for her family and make the time left as stress free as it can be.

Update: March 8th
On Friday 8th March 2024 Julie ventured out to her local pub and whilst surrounded by family and friends and in the middle of singing, her partner Paul got down on knee and proposed to Julie. It was the most perfect moment and Julie was shocked as she was totally unaware. Of course she accepted and like Julie she picked up that mic and continued to sing.

Congratulations to you both on your engagement and I know that the strength, love and support that Julie receives from her partner, from her family and friends she will always be surrounded by love.

So please if you want to donate the price of a celebration drink, £5, £10, £20 etc whatever you can afford, anonymous or leave your name, I know that Julie & her family are thankful.

* thank you for everyone that has donated so far we appreciate each and everyone of you.

Update 23/03/24
I can't even begin to explain how heartbreaking today has been. Visiting Julie and seeing the person that has held my hand, got me through hard times and always been there when I've needed it. She is not just a friend, she is and always will be a sister to me. She has been my support system and we've been there for each other when times have been hard. I can't even bring myself to think about my life without her in it and I honestly don't know how I will cope when the time comes.

Watching someone you love so much, be in pain and not be able to help is beyond hard. She is loved by so many people, with an amazing family that have not left her side. I know that she will keep fighting to the very end.

We all believed that we would have so much more time with her, that she would have treatment to prolong her life to make more memories and make the most of every second she had left. She found love again, got engaged, had plans for her future. Life feels so unfair and this should not have happened.

Unfortunately she is now on end of life treatment and now every second is precious with her.

Make the most of the time you have because we never know when we will no longer have the ones we love around us.
