Make monthly living expenses and bills

Hi, my name is Diann. I’m starting this go fund me to help me be able to make my monthly bills once my short term disability ends 05/09/23. Last November, the day before Thanksgiving, my doctor called to tell me the 2 biopsies on my right breast was positive for cancer (my 3rd cancer). 02/01/23 I went in for a double mastectomy and the beginnings of reconstructive surgery. I knew going in I’d have to have hormone therapy as I’m hormone positive. My breast surgeon was positive I would not have to have radiation (she was right as the lymph nodes were negative). I was positive that I wouldn’t have to have chemo, either, as I didn’t have to have any treatment past surgery for the previous 2 cancers. I was wrong! At my second appointment with my oncologist, he told me that a test he ordered showed that if I didn’t do chemo, I’d have a greater chance of cancer returning. I was devastated!! I was already planning the second part of reconstruction surgery and getting ready to return to my 2 part time jobs that I loved greatly. No, the oncologist said he didn’t want me to for at least the next 6 months as I go through chemo. After recovering from that, I still have to go through another surgery which will keep me from working for another couple of months. The chemo has been hard so far, making me too weak to function many days and even sent me to hospital twice; once with chest pains, once with a spiked fever. I know God has this all covered, but I also believe that He wants us to have the chance to help each other out.

For this reason, I ask for donations as you are able. The amount I set, I believe, will cover the majority of my living expenses until I’m cleared to work again.
