Make necessary upgrades to Maugherow Hall

We the directors of Maugherow Ballinfull Community Partnership CLG need your help to make necessary fire safety upgrades to the hall to make it compliant and keep it's doors open.

The installation of a fire safety and emergency lighting system necessary to meet fire safety regulations is costing in the region of €17000. We want the hall to be a safe space for use by members of the community and we cannot plan and deliver new services without first complying with the necessary legislation.

Our vision is to complete these works ASAP so we can begin to introduce more programmes to the hall and campaign for services for older people and other groups to be provided locally.

Our overall aim is to seek funding to make necessary renovations to the hall to make it a warm, comfortable, inviting and functional space to be enjoyed by all. We have already secured almost €25000 in funding to upgrade the windows and doors to double glazed PVC. We will continue to seek out substantial grant aid so we can deliver our aims.

The fire safety upgrades are not something that we can wait to do, we cannot move forward without making the building safe and compliant and so we need your help!
