Help make Nicole's Last Trip to See Grandsons Possible Plz

Hi, I'm Nicole, a 71-year-old disabled senior female. I live on Social Security Disability as my only income. I have multiple illnesses; I walk with a cane. I am in the beginning stages of dementia, and I am having chronic mini strokes. I can only walk short distances. I am having surgery next month on my colon and bladder.

My daughter and my two beloved grandsons moved to Oklahoma City the month COVID started from CA. My oldest grandson is on the spectrum and his brother was born premature, was in the NIC unit for 8 weeks, and is hearing impaired. I missed their high school graduation. 16 year old in college 19 year old graduates Dec. I miss them so much.

On Dec 13, my grandson is graduating at 19 years old from Oklahoma Christian University pre-law. I missed his graduation and have not seen him or my grandsons in over 5 years. My mom died of dementia and so did my grandmother. I think this will be the last time I can travel on a plane.

I live alone in La Mesa. Mom died 2 years ago of dementia and Dad died 3 years ago of a broken hip and a stroke at 91.

I had to sell my scooter last year because of the mini-strokes and inability to pass the written test my primary care doctor said she does not want me riding anymore, so I have no transportation. I take the bus to go to the store.

I have been sick a long time and have been divorced a very long time. I have no savings, no property, no stocks, bonds, etc. (I live in a low-income senior complex). I have been sick for a very long time and used up all my savings.

I understand that due to illness and other challenges, I have not prepared for my final years. I am asking the bare minimum for the graduation trip. It means the world to me. My grandsons are my heart.

If you could help, I would be most grateful. Even if it's only a dollar, please help if you can.
