Make-Create-Donate for the Children of Ukraine

Hi, my name is Pamela, and I am the manager of a Community Collective outlet here on the Sapphire Coast in Bega NSW. Over the winter months we asked our community to Knit, Crochet or Sew Scarfs, Socks, Beanies, Mittens, Gloves, Cardigans, Jumpers and Toys.

We have been overwhelmed with the generosity of donations, recording over 1500 items. With the assistance of Tabitha through Global Go-Camp Ukraine we are now desperately trying to raise funds to assist us with the international freight costs. Estimated quotes received to date are way beyond our budget. Collectively we have raised almost $4000.00 from other charitable organizations, community grants and cash donations, which we are continuing to do so.

$4000.00 believe it or not is only 1 third of what is needed.

We hope to at least make this Christmas for many of the displaced children in Ukraine one that they can remember, knowing that they are and will continue to be in our hearts and minds from the land down under.
