Hey, there! My name is Abigail Tesfaye. I'm currently a junior at Concordia University Texas (woosh!).
One of the things that I love about CTX is that it gives students opportunities to learn through service. I am so excited to be going to Botswana, Africa for a mission trip this summer! (No, I don't think that I will be able to stop by Eritrea on the way. Bummer!) This trip is scheduled for July 30th- August 10th! We will spend our time there ministering to children (mostly orphans) and evangelizing in different villages. Above all else, we are going to solely to make Him famous.
As I follow Christ's call to be His witness "to the ends of the earth," I can't do it without others who are faithful to His call to support those who are sent in His name. So, I ask that you prayerfully consider supporting me in this journey in these two ways. First, please pray for our team! Pray that we strive to make Him famous and that the people we encounter will be moved by God's grace!
Second, you can support me financially, if you are able! This trip will cost $3000 total and is out of my reach with my college student budget. The suggested donation price for a T-shirt is $12. If you use this site to pay for your shirt, I will contact you so you can have it in your hands ASAP!
