Making a Difference for Dorothy Snebold

Our mission at the Wisconsin Athletic Club is to "Make a Difference in People's Lives." As employees this mission not only applies to our interactions with members, but also with our fellow team members. Our WAC Lake Country team is reaching out to our WAC community, and beyond, to help support one of our very own, our amazing Massage Therapist, Dorothy Snebold.
Dorothy was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in July of 2023 and has decided to seek out alternative treatments, not covered by insurance.
We would so incredibly grateful for any donations to help Dorothy. We want her to feel surrounded by love and support and she navigates this difficult journey.
Here's a short note from Dorothy.
"After being treated for stomach ulcers for 6 months in early 2023, the pain worsened and I started to lose weight rapidly. I was sent for a CT Scan which showed I had a large tumor in my pancreas and was diagnosed with Stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer in July of 2023. I soon started aggressive chemotherapy and after three months not much had changed. I was told the tumor would most likely never be able to be removed due to it's size and location.
Since then, I have continued chemotherapy, which has been very difficult, due to the side effects. I am now looking into alternative treatments which may help me live longer and have a better quality of life."
