Making Drum Loops Inspired by 90s Breaks

hi my name is chris I love to play the drums and have always wanted to make a drum loop pack. Over the last 10 years I’ve been fortunate enough to tour around the world playing the drums and now I want to take all of my drumming experience and package it up into a neat little box with a bow on it and give it to you to use in your own songs.

This pack will aim to explore BPM ranges between 80-130 with a focus on classic drum breaks from the 90s. While the sample CD era still offers some great sounding options for jungle and dnb style music I find it increasingly difficult to find quality sounding drum loops in a more mid tempo setting similar to the likes of Moby, The Verve, Fatboy Slim, etc. I also find that a lot of drum loop packs try to overcomplicate the drums into patterns that are way too specific and difficult to use for that reason. so we won’t be doing that. These are going to be simple patterns played perfectly in the pocket that sound

These drums will be recorded at The Gradwell House recording studio outside of Philadelphia in their incredible 1200 sq ft live room through a 1980s SSL6000e console using the highest quality microphones and outboard equipment.

$15 - I send you the drum loop pack upon completion. This will come in high quality WAV format and will offer roughly 30 individual drum loops that will then be mixed in 2 formats - one “large” and one “extra large”. large will incorporate a mix more focused on the close miced drum sounds while extra large will incorporate more room sound in the mix.

$20 - You get all of the above plus one shot samples of the drum kit and 10 additional BONUS mixes of the loops. The bonus mixes will be loops that have additional “over the top” processing such as running drum sounds through additional tube compressors, outboard distortion units, maybe even an Eventide H3000

$30 - You get the drum loop pack plus the one shot samples plus the bonus loops plus you can hit me up with a reference of a drum loop you want included in the pack and I will record it and include it! love the drums in lovers rock by tv girl but your little AI stem splitter can’t quite pull them out for you? here’s the solution - i’ll just play the beat on a real drum kit and throw it in there. i won’t even tell tv girl you want to rip them off.
