Making a Kiddush Hashem - a thank you to Amanda

Hey! This is Dalia.

I assume you’re here from watching Amanda’s story unfold. We learned so much from her, and after watching her break down in tears and still be willing to pay for our phone (we obviously refused) we want to reverse Uno card her and drop off a little something to her for doing the right thing, even when it was SO hard.

She’s a single mother to a few kids, and it’s clear times are hard. We would love to deliver a letter with a nice wad of cash from the Jewish community as a thank you for inspiring us with her dedication to raising her son right. I’m sure that her 15 year old son will see the impact of what standing up for the right thing looks like by his mother’s reaction, and be inspired to do the same in the future.

I will let her know I shared her story anonymously and take you guys along as I deliver this - tonight I know put $800 as the goal - no pressure!!! Every dollar together adds up and will be part of making a beautiful Kiddush Hashem today. It will be signed from all of us
