Making a Splash for the Inishowen Food Bank

We  are the  other  Motley Crew  , a group of people who come together once a year at  Xmas to sing on the main street of Buncrana Co Donegal  and raise money for charities home and abroad .  We have been doing this for about 25years !!
Due to  Covid  is not possible this year to gather as a choir  however, we are doing a sponsored swim  at Ludden  Beach in Buncrana on the 21st Dec [Solstice ]  at 9.00am. 
The money raised this year is being donated to  The Inishowen Food Bank  which was  set up in April this year in  response to  an identified need in the Peninsula  that has been exacerbated    by COVID .
The Solstice signifies light and hope as the days begin to get longer and we leave the  darkness behind us for another year ,This surely   never has had as   much significance as it does  this year .
We have been preparing for the swim since the 21st November  updates can be found on the Motley Crew Singers Facebook page . The water   is n; t  getting any warmer but  we are  more than a toe in at this stage .! Your donations will  keep us motivated .
