Making Connie Whole Again!
No one makes us laugh like Connie. No one makes us smile like Connie. No one is more beloved than Connie. No one is like Connie.
We’d like to help her as she begins her six-month battle with chemotherapy. Connie has minimum health insurance. Her bills are stacking up. And while she is fortunate doctors discovered her tumor early, the side effects of chemotherapy will prevent her from working more than a few hours a week. She has been an institution in a handful of Ann Arbor restaurants, (Angelo's, RedHawk, Casey's Tavern, NorthsideGrill) where her energy, wit, compassion and empathy endear her to everyone she meets. Those traits are critical to her healing. So is managing her anxiety. Which is why we are reaching out to you, to her friends and family all over the country.
Connie lives alone, and though she is following her doctor’s instructions, a holistic approach to fighting cancer is essential. That’s where all of us come in.
