Making Memories for Caitlin
Donation protected
Caitlin is now 17 years old, a junior in high school yet her last memory stops on a cool evening October 12, 2017. Caitlin was an honors students and accomplished athlete in her freshman year. She took a severe blow to the head while practicing her sprints for cross country championship race. That was her last memory!
Since then, she has suffered from amnesia, migraine type headaches, head pressure, neck/spine pain, light and noise sensitivity, digestive complications and lives with a 60 second memory!
Caitlin is one of four children in the Little household. Her family has traveled the country searching for answers. She has worked with over 24 doctors in these first two years since her injury. Every doctor says the same thing, "I've never seen anything just like this."
The family has spent over $80,000 so far in this search and yet we have no answers. We are starting this fundraiser to help with medical bills, travel expenses and to fund the next level of searching for help.
We must also be realistic and know we may not find answers so we must prepare for long-term care for Caitlin. We never dreamed we would be the family with rarest form of brain injury or facing a lifetime of care needed for our healthy daughter. We now realize we need help. Our hope is that many folks will give a little which will help us continue the search for healing and restore her memories.
