Making Memories For Michael

In October 2022 my brother Kieran and his wife Francesca received the devastating news that their 15 month old little boy Michael had been diagnosed with an incredibly rare and degenerative mitochondrial disease called Megdel Syndrome. It is a life limiting disorder. Michael's doctors estimate his life expectancy is only going to be around a year from diagnosis. Michael already needs around the clock care.

It is truly a parent's worst nightmare. This is an incredibly devastating time for our family.

Kieran, Francesca and Michael's siblings Abigail and Joshua deserve to make as many wonderful memories together with Michael as possible. We are asking for all the support possible.

Abigail and Joshua don't yet understand the full implications of their brothers illness. If you know them personally we ask you don't speak with them directly. We are carefully managing the support for them.

All the money raised will fund trips, experiences and time together as a family which would otherwise be unaffordable in these already challenging financial times.
