Making Waves - Swim for Diversity

Donation protected
Members of our team started the  Making Waves Movement  in pursuit of racial diversity, equity and equality in aquatics in support of the ongoing Black Lives Matter Movement.

On September 26th, 2020 we will all be swimming 8460 yards/8.46 miles/8:46 seconds (or another form of 846) in honor of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Elijah McClain and the countless others lives lost to police brutality and systemic racism.

We recognize that the ability to swim is a privilege that has disproportionately excluded people of color and lower socioeconomic statuses. We aim to bridge the swim gap by supporting the push for more pool access and swim clinics in under-resourced communities, but we need your help!

100% of your donations will be directed to
The Brenda Villa Foundation , a nonprofit organization committed to increasing water safety and expanding diversity in aquatic sports across the United States.

Let's Make Waves in the aquatics community together!
