Making Yoga Retreats Accessible to All

Yoga should be available to everybody regardless of their income. We all deserve to feel better. The reality is different, especially when it comes to yoga retreats. Retreats can be truly life-changing but often unavailable to people who can't afford them. 

I'm Erika Belanger, the yoga teacher hosting this retreat. I've had my fair share of struggles in life and I don't know where I would be today without yoga and personal development. In my first yoga retreat, I realized how numb and disconnected I was. The immersion in the practice, helped me gain clarity and I learned tools to feel connected and present I still use today.

Now, giving back is part of my spiritual practice.  Love and growth are at the core of everything I do and I've been looking for ways to add even more value to my community. Since together we are stronger, I'm reaching out for help so we can have a bigger impact in the world.

I'm raising money while investing alongside the community to make the experience of a yoga retreat available to students who wouldn't be able to participate otherwise.

I'm hoping to offer up to 2 full scholarships for my next yoga retreat, which would include:
- Flights;
- Transportation from the airport to the retreat and back;
- Eco-Luxury Boutique-Hotel rooms with beach view;
- All meals and snacks;
- 2 Yoga classes/day;
- Daily workshops on personal growth;
- Extra group activities including a Cacao Ceremony and a Sweat Lodge Ceremony;
- All taxes, service fees, and tips.

The retreat is in November 2021. I need to confirm all accommodations 90 days before departure, so I have 90 days to raise money for these scholarships.

I'm so grateful for your support that I will start by donating the first $100. And for any donation of $100 or more, I will match that donation up to a total of $2000.
