Hi my name is Robyn. I’m setting up this fundraiser to try to ease some of the pressures off Mark, Poppy, and Ola while they try to navigate life without Leanna.

Leanna was a loving mom, devoted animal mom, who loved to be outside. No one met Leanna who didn’t like her. Her girls were everything to her and it showed. She was taken way before her time was due. Everyone will miss her positivity and welcoming smile.

Here are some words Poppy wrote about her;

I can’t even begin to explain how much she meant to me and those around her. She was a woman of many trades who loves to try new things. Those around her would say that she is a warm yet stubborn soul who would stick up for those who she cared about. Throughout her life she has had many jobs and many businesses if you asked her she would say being a mom was her favourite (most of the time). She currently was pouring her passion into her company waste not wool, which I hope to continue. She was the best mom I could have asked for, she knew everything about me and my life, it was not because she was nosy or strict, it was because I told her everything, there is not one thing in my life that I did not tell her about, whether it be school, mental health, friends, etc. she was there helping me through it. It is going to be so hard without her by our sides, but I’d like to think that she is here watching over us. She was taken away from me 16, my sister Ola 14 and her husband Mark of 20 years. She was apart of many people’s lives, and left a mark on all of them. She would be absolutely overjoyed by the amount of love and support that is being sent to my family. She was never one to be materialistic, all she ever wanted was heartfelt cards. I would give anything to have her hold me and to hear her voice again. I am absolutely devastated to think that she won’t be at my graduation or wedding, or get to see us finish growing up. She did so much for us that my dad and I don’t know how to do, but we will learn and get stronger together. Please hold your loved ones extra tight because you never know when it will be the last time.

Mark has not asked for any help, and sometimes help is hard to ask for. That being said at this time while Mark is home with the girls and navigating the next steps, I am hopefully we can relieve some of the pressures.
