Mal & Esme Beck Memorial Garden

Peace Lutheran College would like to create a memorial garden in memory of  our beloved Mal and Esme Beck, to remember their faithful service to Lutheran Education, and especially to Peace Lutheran College and Trinity Lutheran Church in Cairns.

Mal and Esme were devoted teachers at Peace Lutheran College, with a genuine love and concern for everyone. They cared for us all, regardless of who we were, or from which culture or background we came. 

The staff and students would like to build a garden in memory of Mal & Esme. A place for learners of all ages to sit and share stories, reflect and be grateful, surrounded by flowers from the Beck's own garden in a place of learning that was so special to our beloved friends.
