I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis over Labor Day Weekend. It is an auto-immune disease that attacks my Central Nervous System. This is something I will live with for the rest of my life, but with amazing research and medical development in recent years I can live a healthy and normal life. I have an amazing team around me and access to doctors and great healthcare - but not everyone does. The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation helps newly diagnosed people with resources, so they can have what can be a scary diagnosis become manageable with lowered impact. Research and support for individuals with MS and their caregivers make a difference, so in honor of this new diagnosis, I will do what I know how.. raise money and run!
