Malachi’s Heart ♥️

As many of you know baby Malachi was born a month ago and he was diagnosed with HypoPlastic Left Heart Syndrome. His condition was not found even though there were several sonograms done during the pregnancy. He was delivered at Emory in Atlanta and within an hour of being born he was admitted to their ICU. Things escalated extremely fast over the next day and were literally minutes away from loosing him upon his arrival to Egleston’s Children Hospital in Atlanta where there we learned of his condition. Myself and my mom have been with him every step of the way since. He had his first of three surgeries at 8days old and has fought to overcome soo much (organs shutting down his first heart surgery being on a ventilator in a medically induced coma collapsed lungs withdrawing from medications infections the list goes on) but I am thankful and blessed to say that he has improved soo much so that he has been moved to the step down at the hospital now and we are eagerly awaiting his arrival HOME. He now has to gain weight to be healthy enough to receive his second surgery which should happen between 3-6months. We have exhausted a lot of our savings and money towards hospital stays, gas, food, and traveling expenses so this Go Fund Me we have decided to make is primarily for what Malachi will need when he comes home (a crib, car seat, clothes, his feedings as he is still with a feeding tube and receives physical therapy for) plus expenses for the future traveling and all medical care that we will need to do. We are extremely grateful for anything you could find in your heart to donate and look forward to fighting the fight and seeing our precious baby boy thrive and become a testimony as he has been through soo much already but still has soo much ahead in the future.
