Malaga Marathon 2024

On the 15th of December, i have signed up to race in the Malaga marathon for 2 charities that mean a lot to both my family and friends. After completing my first half marathon at the start of October, i now feel it is the time to challenge myself further whilst raising money for two great causes.

The first charity is the Beatson cancer charity as back in 2011, my dad sadly lost his fight with cancer and I’ve always wanted to give something back for the support my family was given throughout this time. Not only this, but for anyone who has received similar support and help throughout tough times whilst a love one is fighting this horrible illness.

The second charity I’ll be running this marathon for is the Cystic Fibrosis foundation as one of my very close friends suffers from this condition and I feel like it’s only right to raise funds to support the development and awareness of CF.

After I complete the race, the money raised will be split equally between both charities.
