Urgent: Maui County in Crisis - Devastating Fires Continues to Cause Catastrophic Damage.
On August 8, 2023, an unprecedented disaster struck the beautiful island of Maui. Multiple fires erupted with incredible speed, consuming vast areas including our beloved towns of Lahaina, Pulehu and Upcountry Kula.
Hurricane Dora's powerful winds are now fanning the flames, intensifying the devastation and evacuation efforts.
MAUI NEEDS YOUR HELP NOW.
Innocent residents and visitors are being displaced; their lives upended in the blink of an eye. Our brave first responders are fighting tirelessly to contain these relentless wildfires, but the extent of the damage and loss of life is unimaginable.
Our tight-knit community is in dire need of your help. Hawaii's spirit of Aloha and the strength of our Ohana have always sustained us, and now we desperately rely on them.
All funds raised through this effort will directly support impacted families, displaced residents, and the valiant first responders who have sacrificed so much to protect us all.
The Mai Kalani Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization has operated in the Hawaiian Islands for 40 years.
