Malik Jarmon Memorial service

Hello, my name is Trice, my very good friend lost her son Malik Jarmon, 21. We believe he was shot to death in the 7500 block of South South Shore, South Shore neighborhood, on April 24, 2023, in Chicago, Illinois shortly after leaving work.

Malik’s mother is one of the most caring individuals I’ve ever met. She is that friend that would give you her last, because blessing others is just the person she is. Chanel has been my best friend for the past 10 years. She is a self made entrepreneur ( hair stylist) and author. She recently released her first book where she talks about her self healing journey and the joys of mother hood. Malik was so proud of his mama and she was so excited to show her boys ( two additional minor children) that we can be anything we want in life no matter how old or young we are.

Due to Chanel’s , Malik’s mother, career she does not have life insurance for him and found out that his job did not offer it for him either.

so I am reaching out to Chanel’s community to help her give Malik the burial he deserves. I am not asking for a lot any amount you can spare is a blessing and appreciated.

Malik was the son who assisted with his younger siblings. The son a mother can count on, loved to spend time with his family, and was well on his way to becoming a incredible young man.

We have minimal information on what actually happened to him.
