Mallard Pass Action Group

We are trying to raise £15,000 to help fund specialist legal and planning advice to support the local community through the government planning process for the Mallard Pass Solar Farm application.

Mallard Pass Action Group (MPAG) was set up in December 2021 to help local residents and wider communities fight this large-scale solar farm proposal covering over 2000 acres of productive agricultural land across Lincolnshire and Rutland.

As this is an NSIP (Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project), the Secretary of State for BEIS (Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) will make the final decision after going through an extensive examination process with the government's Planning Inspectorate.

Mallard Pass will have their own team of experts and legal counsel ready to try and nullify all our objections and arguments. We therefore intend to use the services of a Planning Consultant and a Junior Barrister to ensure we can represent the community effectively.
