Hi everyone! I am trying to raise the funds to cover the cost of my Mom's funeral home service expenses. She passed away very early this morning (July 14) while in hospice care. She had no bank account, no life insurance or assets to speak of. If you donate, you will be helping us so much.

My Mom is my best friend. She was a beautiful, warm, kind, and loving person. She loved her family and friends with her whole being. She was so loyal. She was intelligent, hilarious, and strong. She was an animal lover through and through, even going so far as to feed and rescue a cat colony herself. Cancer came along and wrecked her body, despite her fighting spirit and strength. We were so afraid at first. The idea of being apart. We had many talks to try to prepare me for the loss of her. She will be so, so dearly missed by so many. Especially by me. My heart aches like it never has before. I will always want more time with her, more memories, more conversations. I hear her voice in my head. She is a part of me.

She wanted to be cremated with no memorial service. She wanted everyone to rejoice in the present. This is what she adamantly wanted. The total cost comes out to $2,473 for cremation, which is the goal I would love to reach. I still have a long way to go with keeping the electric on, cleaning up the house, moving things, starting probate with an attorney, and getting the house on the market and sold. I'm not even in the same state, so it will take some travel. The great news is that her cats (her babies) got adopted together by a loving soul.
