In Loving Memory Of Mama Marlyn
Donation protected
It's with sad news that Mama Marlyn Vinuya's heart stopped at dawn of Friday May 22nd, and is no longer suffering from COVID-19. We appreciate all of you who have sent positive energies, prayers and thoughts to our family since April 11th when she was hospitalized.
We were fortunate that Elmhurst hospital has a program called "Caring Connections" that allowed us to video call with her everyday through the help of hospital volunteers and nurses. We spoke, laughed, cried, and rooted for her even though she was unable to respond, with the hope that she would hear our voices and fight to come back to us.
On May 19, healing & anointing prayers for her was held in Elmhurst hospital with the help from the social workers and Father Gabriel, to bless her as she continued this enduring battle whatever the outcome is.
Family and friends from all over the world have been sharing their thoughts and prayers to us and we truly felt it. Mama was in a very critical condition and despite keeping strong, this has been very hard on her physically and our whole family. We hope you could still include her in your thoughts and prayers.
We are grateful for all your condolences, spiritual support and positive energies throughout this whole ordeal. If you’re able and still willing to extend your help through the expenses, please feel free to donate on this fundraiser. The donations will be used for her funeral services as well as bringing her remains back home to Philippines where she will be buried in her homeland, per her request, once this pandemic crisis is over and it’s safer to travel.
You will be missed more than you'll ever know, rest peacefully now Mama.
We will always be thankful to you Mama/Mom, Sis/Ga, Mommylyn, Mamita, Tita Ga/Ganda, we love you always and forever.
