Mama Rosa's Cancer Fight
Donation protected
Mama Rosa was diagnosed with End Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer 31 years ago. After 2 years of radical chemo treatments, we all believed that mom had beat that beast; & was well on her to a cancer free life.
14 years ago, mom's cancer came back & this time there was no turning back. Mom was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer with mets (spreading). The cell type mutated to Adenocarcinoma given she had had a full hysterectomy 31 years ago. A few surgeries later, scans, blood transfusions, hospitalizations, more chemo, oral sores, radiation, more chemo, lymphedema, & more chemo. Mom has tumors in numerous locations from her vocal cords to her thoracic spine. But she is a fighter! This disease has made mom disabled & dependent on a walker, then on a scooter, & now her ability to walk is compromised due to pain, lymphedema, & weakness.
A family meeting was had, & mom will be entering into hospice to get the care that she needs & deserves. Mom's ability to care for herself is now incredibly limited & is she more & more dependent on others for all of her cares.
Mom is in need of nursing care, a hospital bed, equipment to assist with transferring, assistance with medical bills that have slowly piled because chemo is NOT cheap. If you can not donate, please just pray! Pray for comfort & a peaceful transition.
