Mama Shenas Medical Emergency

As most of you know I fell down my stairs in June when my railing gave out. I went down 4 stairs and landed with me knee bent all the way behind me. I broke my great toe, fractured my ankle and shifted my kneecap to the left. From June -Sept I had tons of drs appts and physical therapy in hopes to pull my kneecap back over..all were unsuccessful. I had a MAJOR reconstructive knee surgery on Sept 27th which included breaking my shin to realign my knee with plates & screws. The recovery period is 8 months with 8wks no weight bearing and tons of physical therapy.

I am a single mama of 3 amazing chics. In the midst of being injured I lost some clients bc I was unable to fulfill my duties and I will not be able to work at all until November and will not be able to work full time until middle of January.

My landlords are stating that it wasn’t their obligation to make repairs. I sent an email before I had surgery stating that I wouldn’t be able to pay my rent for the next few months due to my injury and not being able to work! I was replied back from their attorney with that WOULDNT work & they need rent. My rent is $750 a month and my utilities average $350 a month. So this fundraiser is asking for 3 months of bills nothing more. Christmas will be skipped this year as well due to finances & that’s ok!

I’m so frustrated and hurt. I’ve cried and cried bc I don’t know what else to do. I’ve never been evicted or in a position where I just don’t have funds. I’ve always provided for me and my chics, but I had an injury and a major surgery out of my control. I’ve prayed and prayed and cried and cried. I’ve always been the giver never the receiver.

I know God has weird ways of working, but I am broken today. So yes I need prayers lots of prayers! Pray that God provides for me and my chics.
