Mama Susan Medical Expenses

Mama Susan needs our help!! On July 14, 2020 Mama Susan was admitted into the Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville to undergo surgery to remove a bowel obstruction. During surgery a tumor was removed which has now been confirmed as Colon Cancer. Upon being sent home to recover from surgery Susan's administrator filed for FMLA on her behalf. The cooperate office denied her application and terminated her employment due to Susan not working for the company for at least a year therefore she has lost all of her insurance coverage. Not only are the medical bills piling up from the hospital for her surgery and post-op appointment, but she is also facing future out of pocket expenses in which she will be incurring to try and fight this terrible disease of cancer. As if this isn't overwhelming enough, Susan is the sole household provider and the everyday living expenses are also making this unexpected event even more stressful. As with many things we face in life we do not face them alone, our families are also effected. Susan has a daughter Ashley, and she is an only child, but Susan has been like another mother to all of Ashley's closest friends. Ashley recently moved back home to Texas and now with this devastating news Ashley is also unable to work because Susan needs full, hands on care not only to help recover from her surgery but to also help get her to and from her many doctor appointments,  go grocery shopping, pick up prescriptions etc. Susan has always worked her whole life, is always the first to help anyone in need in any way she can and now needs our help. We understand times are hard but anything anyone could give would be appreciated more than we can begin to put into words. Thank you all so much.
