Mama Yoya needs a pacemaker.

Hi, My name is Mary Haaland and my husband, Garry, and I are organizing this fundraiser for medical expenses for a very dear woman, Mamá Yoya (Salvadorita Vega Dinarte), who is in urgent need of a cardiac procedure and placement of a pacemaker.

Mamá Yoya lives in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. The limited health insurance available there does not cover this kind of medical expense. The cardiac procedures will be done in Managua at the military hospital on Sunday, July 30st.

Many of you, including our family, have known the generosity and care of staying with Mamá Yoya and the multi generations of her family.

She is an amazing woman who loves to cook, dance, sew and to care for her grandchildren.
