Help empowering the talented girls & boys of Ugandan Rugby

Yaaay you can change other children’s lives and empower the talented Rugby players of Uganda!

Support young girls & boys and aid building a better future for them and their families! Your donation is part of our funding in the creative and dedicated youth of the Walukuba Rugby Club.

Together, we create opportunities to reach full potentials and achieving dreams and fortunately move mountains in precious lives. Every day, they practice and work hard, dreaming of becoming famous, adding their unique flavors to the big crowd. They want to inspire the young kids of the community and help out their families through their talent which could enable them a brighter future. But without access to proper training, school and other general ressources it is hard to compete at the final Nationals, so that’s why we want to provide them a chance.

That’s when the idea of our funding was born. We want to make a difference for them, hopefully with your help!

Your donations are going directly to the Teams and their Coach Leo, with which they can afford their future training and ba able to participate in competitions overseas and outside Africa. Here is the list, in which areas your donations are needed:

-Sports Equipment: Rugby balls, Boots, Jerseys, Shorts, Mouthguards, Goalposts etc.

-Travel expenses and entry fees for international tournaments

-Field rental and maintenance at the training area

-Medical care: meds, first aid kits, physiotherapy

-Tuition fees

Leo is currently managing the Walukuba Club based in Jinja, Uganda, furthermore he is fitness coach for the Uganda Rugby Sevens Team. They are now currently in the quarter finals play offs of the Nile Special Rugby Premiership Tournament with only eight teams and four teams facing relegation. Walukuba is at eighth place fortunately and striving to reach at least finals or semi finals.

Due to Leo’s competent and devoted leadership they qualify for international competition in Europe next year, however unfortunately international support is not provided, that’s why we have one more reason to start this funding. The Teams own Uganda‘s best newcoming athletes who are ready to compete internationally with opponents from all over the world.
