Help us save the MamaMusic School, Uganda
Donation protected
Madula has been inspiring children, young people & communities through creativity & performance since 1998.
We have worked closely with our partner school "Mama Music" in Kampala, Uganda since 2019.
Founded and headed by musician Adam Luwandaga, the school provides education, music and dance opportunities to young people who would otherwise never get such a chance - many come from very disadvantaged backgrounds - the school also provides somewhere to live for a a lot of them!
It is always a challenge to run such a programme, and in recent times one of the Mama Music sponsors has dropped out, leaving the school in a state of emergency with a very real chance of closing soon. We are seeking to raise six months running costs, while we try to secure future sponsors for their longer term.
Find out about Mama Music at their website Mama Music School Online!
- £200 per month provides food for more than 50 children living & learning at MamaMusic's school.
- £100 per month provides wood for cooking & electricity.
- £360 per month covers the rent for the school which provides accommodation & learning facilities for these children who, comparatively to us in England have nothing materially, yet everything in terms of energy & inspiration!
Please help us in our mission to support MamaMusic to survive!
Thank you,
