Mama’s Song is a 20 minute suspense drama about a young man dealing with the traps of life without hope in the violent streets of Los Angeles. The story takes place on Roland “Rolo” Williams' 17th birthday. His once loving family is now spiralling out of control as Rolo tries to hold what's left of his life together. He has to be strong and take on the role of patriarch in the mist of a mother’s depression, a younger brother’s fear, and a friends' infatuatuation with violence.
The producers are looking to raise $6,000 by June 30th, as production starts in early/mid July in Los Angeles, California. The more we raise, the more options we have to ensure we create a quality production.
