Get Roseville Family Remote Start
Taylor Trupiano, 24, of Roseville, left his car running in his own driveway around noon on Jan. 5 when he ran inside his home for around five to seven minutes to drop off groceries and pick up his girlfriend and her young son.
“My car takes forever to warm up,” Trupiano said of the 1997 Chrysler Concorde. “And I believe the temperature was around 5 degrees outside.”
When he came back outside there was a ticket for $128 parking ticket he received for leaving his car unattended with the keys in the ignition -- in his own driveway!!
This is unjust. He did nothing wrong but warm up his car so his own family could be warm! This police officer had no business coming onto his private property let alone leaving this ticket! The City of Roseville cites "public safety" but we all know this was nothing more than revenue generation.
Mr. Trupiano is being represented Pro-Bono by Nicholas P. Somberg of Somberg Law, PLLC who is also the creator of this fundraiser
THIS GO FUND ME IS TO REACH OUT TO ALL THE PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET TO BUY MR. TRUMPIANO A REMOTE START for his vehicle (which apparently makes it OK to leave your vehicle started and unatended)!
Lets show the City of Roseville and the Roseville police that the people REJECT their actions and will help this family to never have to get into a freezing cold vehicle again!
