Man VS Mountain

I am undertaking what I believe will be a true test of physical and mental endurance. I will be climbing and completing the NATIONAL 3 PEAKS in 24 HOURS, then heading straight to Yorkshire to conquer the YORKSHIRE 3 PEAKS AND CYCLE 100 MILES BACK TO ASHGATE HOSPICE within the next 24 HOURS.

A TOTAL OF 5561 Meters / 18244 Feet climbed and 150 miles covered on foot and bike.

I am raising money for a charity that is very close to my heart. May 2024 will mark 12 years since I lost my Grandad to his fight with cancer, and in that last year of his life, he was cared for and looked after by Ashgate Hospice.

Much like my Grandad, who turned his disability into a superpower after an accident at work in his 20s and became a Paralympic Gold Medalist in downhill skiing, I want to harness that same energy in completing my challenge. With each peak I reach, I will be planting a memorial flag.

On each memorial flag, I want to offer a space for a face of a loved one who has/is been cared for by Ashgate Hospice.
