man needs open heart surgery but will have no home

After his wife left him on his own without any money, James became extremely depressed. He was suicidal and was taken to the hospital, only to find out that he was dying and urgently needed open heart surgery to survive.  He has been in the hospital for three weeks, and his family and friends used all their resources to pay for Decembers rent. However despite their best efforts, when the surgery is complete, James will have no home and no money. We are looking to raise around ten thousand dollars to cover his rent, hydro, and groceries once he is out of the hospital and beginning the recovery process which will mean he will not be able to work for six months.
