Manatee Bay Inn- Hurricane Ian Relief
Donation protected
Hurricane Ian has affected many people throughout Florida. The scene in Fort Myers Beach is heartbreaking, many homes were destroyed, and many businesses were lost. Manatee Bay Inn was hit hard. My parents and owner of Manatee Bay Inn, Pat and Lien Ton lost their beautiful home and business to Hurricane Ian. Pat decided to weather the storm. He stayed in his home on the second floor of Manatee Bay Inn. The storm surge flooded up to 2 ft on the second floor. Everything was damaged, and the house is inhabitable. They are currently staying at hotels with their dog Ginger unable to return home.
They have insurance, but it does not cover damages caused by flooding. Their insurance would not be able to remotely cover the costs of repair. We are asking for assistance during this time.
Donations would go directly to Pat and Lien to help rebuild their homes and livelihoods. Anything would be appreciated.
