Manaya Mabry

Manaya has been a dedicated Crown Richmond BMW Service Department team member for over 4 years. Manaya has been diagnosed with several life-altering auto-immune diseases within the last year: Ulcerative Colitis, Grave’s Disease, and Fibromyalgia; as well as the cardiovascular condition Sinus Tachycardia. Manaya has been adjusting to her new “normal” for the last year by balancing her work, life, and health. Manaya’s team of specialists has been optimistic that her diseases could be managed with medication and have a minimal impact on her quality of life. However, after her most recent visit with her team of specialists, Manaya’s auto-immune diseases have begun to spread to her brain. This spreading has created a need for a more aggressive treatment path, meaning Manaya will have to step away from her work duties to focus on her road to recovery and managing her health. This change will require Manaya to apply for medical disability and for this reason, we are asking for your support in helping Manaya with medical bills and daily expenses. While the disability application is going through the approval process, Manaya is unable to work and pay for her medical appointments, medications, or even daily expenses, such as gas to get to and from doctor’s appointments, utilities, rent, etc. If you know Manaya, then you know she is strong and looking at this situation in a positive way. Manaya is unsure of when it will be possible, but she is looking forward to when she is healthy enough to come back to her work Family at BMW, she misses her team members and Guests.

This fundraiser is being organized by Manaya’s team members at Crown Automotive Group, and the funds raised for her will be used to pay for her medical costs, prescriptions, and other essential needs and expenses. Manaya has been a valuable part of the Crown Automotive Group for the past 4 years, and we want to support her in every way that we can. She has a long, hard road ahead of her, but we know she will fight throughout this process. We thank everyone for their generous support and will include updates on Manaya’s progress.
