Manchester Buddhist Centre Double Snowdon Walk
The Manchester Buddhist Centre Walking Group is staging an epic sponsored walk in aid of our lovely community and beautiful city centre building....a Double Snowdon on Saturday 6th July.
This challenge walk will start in Llanberis.
We will be trekking up the Llanberis Path to the summit, and then travel down the Snowdon ranger path.
The walkers will then climb the mountain again via the Snowdon ranger path to the top...and then back down to Llanberis.
There will, of course, be an option of doing just one ascent.
This is a 17 mile adventure with over 6,000 feet of climb (that's more than half the ascent between Everest Base Camp and its summit!!!!)
[perhaps not quite so slippery! ]).
The Manchester Walking Group have over 15 intrepid individuals. We are ready and willing to throw ourselves onto the Snowdonian fells and mad enough to test our strength and endurance egged on by our brave leader Peter Tristram!!
We will be giving our all.
Please support and sponsor us, by giving as much as you can, to encourage us on the path
Thank you
