Manchester High School (MHS), was first established in 1855 to serve as an institution of higher learning in the parish of Manchester, Jamaica. The school has grown tremendously in the intervening 162 years, to become an important stepping stone for tens of thousands of aspiring young Jamaicans.
This year, the Class of 1988, in a spirit of service to current students has decided to contribute to the MHS Bursar with the MHS Scholarship Bank providing oversight for scholarship recipient disbursements. The MHS Scholarship Bank administers the recipients needs at Manchester High School, in a transparent manner. Recipient individual needs vary, but the primary needs typically include text books, notebooks, uniforms, shoes and computer information and technology access.
The MHS motto of "Sic, Luceat, Lux", Let Your Light Shine, burns in the hearts of the Class of 1988. We the MHS Class of 1988, welcome your supporting contributions, hand in hand with us, as we help the lights of current students to shine.
