Manchester & Salford Ecumenical Whit Walk 2024

The Whit Walk organising committee is raising money for this year's Manchester & Salford Ecumenical Whit Walk. The Walk will take place on Monday, 27th May starting from Cathedral Gardens.

The Manchester Whit Walk first took place in 1801 and we want to ensure that this part of our city's heritage is not lost.

Therefore, we need to raise funds to put on this year's Walk. Nothing that's living and vibrant remains the same, it evolves, and the Whit Walk is no exception. It now includes Salford and all Christian churches, parishes and faith groups in Manchester and Salford are invited to get involved.
