2023 Mandeville Rotary Snow Village &Train Display

Eleven years ago, in conjunction with the Northlake-Mandeville Rotary Club, the Mandeville Mayor’s Office and the ownership of Aquarius Pools, the Snow Village & Train Display was born.

This is a “FREE” community Holidays window viewing that runs from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM nightly, starting Thanksgiving Eve Night and ends New Year’s Day Night.

The display takes 3-4 full weeks to set up annually and is managed daily by Rotary members and other volunteers throughout the holiday season. After the holidays it takes an additional week to dismantle, pack up and transport back into a storage facility.

There are various costs of maintaining the display. Train engine maintenance, or replacement, including Transformers and tracks, construction materials, animated lighting, & music updates, outdoor blow ups, electrical wiring, decorations, & Snow Village repairs and replacements, and finally transportation expenses.

Although some of these expenses are covered by some local businesses, our expenses exceed our sponsorships. Many people that view and enjoy the display have asked “Can we make a donation to help?”

That is the purpose of the “go fund me” account. There is NO DONATION TOO SMALL. Any excess collected will be used to help the many charities of the Northlake-Mandeville Rotary Club.

We hope to continue bringing joy to children of all ages for many years to come. Your help and support is much appreciated.
