Help Mandi Mapes Launch Levees Album

My name is Mandi Mapes Kottas, and I’m recording a new album called Levees. A little about me: I'm a wife, a mama of two, and more recently, a dreamer of sorts.  I’ve made music and released albums in the past, but Levees is perhaps most precious to my heart.  These seven songs blossomed after a long, grueling season of creative drought. Crafting each of these songs has also crafted in me a renewed hope that I can still create something beautiful after all this time. 

In the end, this album has turned out to be my proudest work -full of vulnerability,  honesty and poetic creativity. I’m so proud of the way they sound and the way I feel when I hear them. That’s why I’m taking the leap and making a record that I believe will make others feel the same way!

Today, I need your help in raising $25,000 to bring these seven songs to life. I know what you’re thinking— making a record is expensive, and you’re right! Hiring a producer, a string quartet, a sound engineer, studio time, musicians, as well as mixing and mastering an album adds up, but I believe these songs are worth it!
