Mandy, Jonathan, Baby James & Sophia Need Us

Donation protected
Life isn’t easy, and it's always getting harder. I had never thought I would have to do this for my own family, yet here we are. My beautiful baby sister Mandy is fortunate enough to have her partner Jonathan still alive with us. Jonathan had an unfortunate freak motorcycle accident; he was riding his motorcycle when a pack of deer jumped in front of him at 30 miles an hour, and a buck kicked him off his motorcycle. Jonathan is an incredible human being, a fantastic father to his four children and the hardest worker I know. Jonathan was running his own small business to support his family, which he is now unable to do and is facing a minimum of 6-months of recovery until he can walk on his own and regain the use of his right hand. Thankfully he was wearing his helmet and was able to save his own life by tying his belt around his leg as he nicked a major artery and shattered his entire right side. We are so blessed that he is still with us. Jonathan has gone through 6 major surgeries since being hospitalized. We just found out he will need at least two more major surgeries and will remain in the hospital until he can get the remaining necessary surgeries which could take weeks before he is released. My only beautiful niece Sophia is 2 and a ½ years old, and my new gorgeous nephew James just turned three months old. My sister and their father need some serious support on all fronts. If anyone can help, we will all be eternally grateful. We are a prideful family who has worked for everything we have. We have a hard time asking for help, and it is my will to help them in their time of need. We believe Jonathan will recover, but it will take a minimum of 6 months at the least to heal, and he will be unable to work as he is a plumber. Once Jonathan can leave the hospital, Mandy must be Jonathan’s full-time caretaker throughout his healing process. They are currently working on remodeling the house they rent, adding ramps and handles he will need to be able to get around. Mandy is a new full-time mother to baby James while still caring for Sophia, who is just under three years old. Anyone who is a mother knows how hard it is being a full-time new mom with two small children and now will have to be Jonathan's full-time caretaker as he will not be able to walk and doesn't have use of his right arm and wrist. This is more than I can bear for her. She is a strong woman, but they need help. My sister, Jonathan, my niece and nephew are my everything. I’m humble enough to ask for help on their behalf for any donations, as it will be a long, hard road to recovery. The financial burden of two small children, Jonathan’s weeks of hospital bills alone, rent, utilities and living expenses is something they will need help with for the next several months. Even the smallest donations will help, and I ask everyone to please continuously share this post. We appreciate any kind, positive healing vibes for Jonathan, goodwill to help Mandy, and sending love to their family. Thank you all in advance to anyone who can help them. It means the world to our family and me. I am always willing to help those in need, and this time, it hits home as this tragic accident directly reflects those I love the most, my family.
My sister and her partner are the best people I know, and those kids are the sweetest, most incident beings in the world. Any help that would make their lives a little easier would be greatly appreciated. Those back home and closest to Mandy who can spare an hr or two to help Mandy babysit so she can visit Jonathan at the hospital would be amazing. I will also set up a food train so she doesn't have to cook every meal. She also has Jonathan's older son living with them, who is going to his first year of college, so she has her hands full on all fronts. I want to work with my Colorado people helping by setting up a silent auction and throwing a benefit concert for them here soon. This is going to take a lot of help from everyone I know. I will forever be indebted to all those willing to help my baby sister and her family in the worst incident they have ever faced. Sending love on all fronts to everyone I know. Hug and say I love you to all your people every chance you get. Know I love you all.
