Anyone who knew Biko could not help but be drawn to his bright smile, joyful personality and his light. Biko had a meaningful impact on so many people and communities in his short time on this earth and this loss leaves an unthinkable hole in our hearts.

As the Mangcu family grieves the unfathomable loss of their precious boy, we as a community want to rally around them. Your donations will help cover the cost of a celebration of Biko’s life during which the Mangcu family can be surrounded by family and friends on what would have been his 5th birthday, facilitate travel to South Africa to be with family, offset grief counseling services and the many expenses that the months ahead will bring.
