Mango's Cancer Battle [ROUND 2]
I’m doing this for my sister because she is being a pain and won’t give in to asking for help with Mangos cancer treatment again. Mango is my sister's fur baby that has defied all odds. She was diagnosed with high grade 2 mitotic level 7 mast cell cancer 5 years ago and given 4 months to live at just 3 years old. Hannah said “ABSOLUTELY NOT” and poured everything that had into getting her in remission. Mango was in remission for 5 years until Hannah found a swollen lymph node on Mango this past Christmas Eve. What we thought was just a swollen lymph node from a skin infection actually turned out to be her cancer coming back and it came back as the most aggressive form of Mast Cell. Hannah and Jonathan got Mango into surgery to get the lymph node removed as soon as possible and have been doing chemo, acupuncture, herbals, supplements, vitamin c therapies, all the things to keep Mango kickin.
Good news is that Mango is still feeling great and on Mango's last chemo visit they did staging and everything was “clear” from what they saw on ultrasound, x-ray, and physical exam. Bad news is, they have put a little over $40K into this round of cancer and have hit a wall financially and Hannah refuses to ask for help again so I am doing it for her because she has come SO far with Mango, defied ALL the odds and we are NOT letting cancer win this battle so we are not stopping now.
As her sister that as seen her and Jonathan fight this head on with Mango, I ask that if you even have a dollar to spare, it will mean SO much to Hannah, Jonathan, and Mango. We know times are SO tough right now so we take donations of prayer as well as we know and believe in the strong power of prayer too!♥️
If you feel led, please consider helping Mango beat cancer AGAIN! Hannah is currently down in Florida for spring training with her Husband that plays for the Atlanta Braves and I feel like every time I call Hannah she is at the vet getting something done for Mango to help fight this awful disease. Hannah and Jonathan are truly some of the most loving and giving people you will ever meet and I promise that when they get the opportunity, they will pay it forward in every way possible.
Thank you for taking the time to read this! As Hannah always says, tell your dog I said hi!
