Manh Saephanh Memorial

With a heavy heart, the Saephanh family shares the saddening news that Manh passed away on Monday 4/10/2023. I am Manh’s sister-in-law and will be updating the page on behalf of the family. This was unexpected, to say the least, and we are not prepared to say goodbye to our beloved sister, daughter, mother and the roles she played in so many other lives.
Manh brought sunshine wherever she went and never failed to put a smile on your face. She always made sure others were good and taken care of before she even thought of herself. She was always available to lend a hand or shoulder to cry on for those in need. She lived to bring joy to others and always made sure everyone was having a great time. We will miss seeing her smiling face come through the door as she throws her arm over your shoulder to give you a big warm hug.
She leaves behind 3 beautiful children Michael, Jaslene and Lilyan. They each share a trait of their mom that we will never forget; Michael shares her compassion for others, Jaslene wears her heart on her sleeve like her mom and Lilyan shares the ability to bring a smile to your face no matter the situation. In addition to preparing to lay Manh to rest we also think about what is to come for the kids. While we cannot replace a mother’s love we will do our best to be there for them just as she would have been. We will make sure that the memories of their mom live on and remind them she will always have a place in our hearts.
We have already seen so much generosity from many, and are hoping to expand our reach to all who are willing to give. In the Mien culture the funeral lasts for 3 days and 3 nights, where the Shamans are praying 24/7 for her until the end of the funeral.
The traditional funeral ceremony will start Monday and end Wednesday night (4/17/23-4/19/23). We welcome you all to join us in memory of Manh and help us send her off. You are welcome to start coming by the home prior to the start of the traditional ceremony (Wednesday 4/12/23 to Sunday 4/16/23), please be mindful that we will be prepping for the main ceremony that is to start early Monday.
We will be taking donations at the home if you would like to contribute to her service. In the Mien culture they do not have any food restrictions so you can bring any type of food or drinks to donate as well. We usually love to share what we have, but we ask that you please do not take anything with you when you leave the home as it is against the culture to do so in a situation like this. The address for their home is 1767 Southlawn Dr Ceres, CA 95307.
Please support however you can. If anything, sharing this post to your page would be appreciated. Gofundme me does take a percentage for their services so if you would to donate by others means you can use this link: https://linktr.ee/allisonsouk
Please know any contributions are wholeheartedly appreciated, and your support will be known and felt by our family as we grieve her passing.
