I have launched a GoFundMe crowdfunding request!

Some of my friends asked me- What is crowdfunding? So I thought I'd start with that.

You have a business idea or a business need, and you need a certain amount of money to fund it. You reach out to a crowd of individuals who can collectively provide you with the necessary amount to fund your venture.

Crowdfunding is raising small amounts of money, from $5 bucks on up, from many different sponsors so that you can get the total amount of money you need. That’s it.

Manifesting My Vision for Family, Healing and A Creative Community Space!!

Has been a vision I've been working on for 40+ years.

As Steve Jobs said... “If you are working on something that you really care about,

you don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.”

Indeed it does! In March 2020, when COVID took off, I purchased a 100+-year-old 1025 sq ft, 2-bedroom, 1 bath-cabin, with a 1053 sq ft 3-car garage on .41 acres.

During the first walkthrough, I remember standing in the living room and having the thought... "I'm Home".

Then I went into the 3-car garage which is a little bigger than the house,

and said to the realtor "I could turn this into my office and have a community space for workshops and music!".

When I went into the backyard and saw how large the property was...

the whole thing came together-

"I can manifest my Vision to work out of my home, have Holistic Health Retreats and host House Concerts again!"

And... I had no idea how I was going to pull it off!

I had never purchased a home alone.

I just knew this place felt right and it was no accident I found it.

It checked off all my boxes for what I wanted in a home and was worth pursuing.

"When the Door opens walk through it!"

A friend once told me.

"Hold on to your hat! and keep going!"

My dad always said when I needed encouragement facing a big challenge.

I trusted those feelings and then the magic started...

Turned out I was eligible for low-interest loans from Wasatch Housing Authority and Federal Housing Administration and with the help of a co-signer we closed on the house on March 5, 2020, right when you couldn't get toilet paper!

Fast forward 3 years later once again My Vision is pulling me to move on it Now!

As many of you know, every winter my Mom/Mema comes out to ski and stay with me.

She is now 94. She says she wants to ski again this winter! I hope so! Skiing makes her happy!

She is an inspiration for us all! However, with age can come a decline in how one functions- especially with memory. Her body is still strong- Just the other night she was out dancing with my sister to John Cowan at 3rd & Lindsley Bar & Grill in Nashville!

Go Mema!! She loves to dance!

However, Mema now is needing to not be alone and requires additional assistance with Home Health Care. I can care for her in the mornings. Afternoons she will need assistance when I'm working. Fortunately, Heber City has great senior support.

Last winter I moved my session room into the Living Room so MeMa could be in the guest room puzzling and napping.

This winter because of her increased need for assistance it is not sustainable or professional to work out of the house with her caregivers coming and going.

Thus my motivation and drive to turn my 3-car garage into my work and community space and move my office/session room out of the main house.

This past December I was able to start the project with an SBA Loan I took out during COVID.

This is covering the bare bones work and great progress is being made!

The plumbing is in and electricians are in the process of getting the wiring completed. The office floor is in, framing has started.

Phase 1 is to move the office/session room out of the house.

Phase 2- complete the community/workshop/music space.

The plumbing is done.

The floor is installed and framing has started!
